NextIO Ties Into IBM Clusters

Austin-based NextIO, which is developing I/O virtualization hardware, announced this morning it is working with IBM to include its products into IBM's clustering products. Exact details of the relationship were not detailed by the company. NextIO said the effort would enable reconfigurable and "on-demand" GPU compute capabilities for IBM's iDataplex servers.
