NextIO Ties With Cluster Management Software Firm

Austin-based NextIO, the developer of I/O consolidation products, said today that it has tied with Bright Computing, a provider of cluster management software. The two said they will work together to provide a GPU-based cluster computing and cluster management solutions to HPC customers in the financial services industry. The companies said that Bright Computing's software can now be used to monitor metrics from NextIO's GPU-based processing products. NextIO is using graphical processing unit (GPU) technology to accelerate computationally intensive operations for the enterprise, oil and gas, HPC, digital media, and other industries.
