MumboJumbo: Win Over PopCap Now At $7.3M

Dallas-based MumboJumbo, a publisher of casual games for the PC and console market, said Tuesday that the firm's legal win over PopCap games has been upped to $7.3M. The firm said the amount is an increase of $2.7M, covering attorneys' fees in the case. The additional funds are on top of the existing $4.6M the firm has been awarded so far in its breach of contract agreement. The two went to court over PopCap's decision to market and sell games on its own, despite an agreement where MumboJumbo would distribute PopCap's games.
