Spiceworks Adds Virtualization Management
Austin-based Spiceworks, a developer of free IT management software, announced today that it has added support for virtualized machines in its product. According to Spiceworks, it now includes features to remotely inventory and monitor virtualizes machines, including remote discovery and monitoring of VMware ESX/ESXi, and vSphere virtualized servers. In addition, the firm said it has added new capability to manage server and desktop processes. The firm said the new server and desktop process features will allow administrators to remotely view and kill desktop and server processes on machines.
