DDB Technologies Sues Yahoo

Austin-based intellectual property holding firm DDB Technologies L.L.C. said today that it has sued Yahoo!, over the firm's live sporting event simulations. DDB--which says it owns a number of patents covering the technology--said it plans to "aggressively protect" its intellectual property. The firm owns U.S. Patents 5,526,479; 5,671,347; 6,204,862; 7,373,587. The lawsuits follow similar lawsuits the company has filed against ESPN, Inc., and NFL Enterprises, LLC.
