Intrinsity Acquired By Apple
Austin-based Intrinsity, a developer of semiconductors used in Apple's new iPad device, has been acquired by Apple, according to reports. Apple reportedly paid around $121M for the firm, which had around 100 employees. Intrinsity reportedly designed parts of Apple's A4 processor, which powers the iPad. Intrinsity was headed by Bob Russo.
