SoftLayer Launches iPhone App

Dallas-based data center operator SoftLayer has launched a new iPhone application that the firm says can be used to manage their servers and accounts. SoftLayer said its Mobile Client software allows its users to startup, shutdown, ping, and reboot servers, as well as create trouble tickets and view other information about their accounts. The app is available for free to the firm's customers.
