Founders Institute Opens In Houston
The Founders Institute, an mentorship and training program for entrepreneurs originally started in Silicon Valley, said Wednesday that it has opened up a new effort in Houston. The group, which helps tie entrepreneurs with experienced advisors to help learn the ins-and-outs of startups, said it is running a Summer 2010 session in the city. The firm already holds locally run events across the country and internationally. The Houston effort lists Marc Nathan, former Director of Development for Information Technology at the Houston Technology Center, and Kurt Stoll, Director of Marketing and Sales for VisionMonitor Software, as the local sponsors of the Houston effort.
