Sipera Wins Call Center Firm
Richardson-based Sipera Systems, which develops unified communications and voice-over-IP security products, reported today that it has been selected by Chilean call center operator InterContact. Financial impact of the win was not disclosed. Sipera said InContact is using its UC-Sec security appliances for its distributed call centers. The deal was won in conjunction with systems integrator Belltech, which is based in Chile. Sipera's product is used for such capabilities as access control, security policy enforcement, call routing, and other functions at the location. Sipera is venture backed by Austin Ventures, Duchossois Technology Ventures, S3 Ventures, Sequoia Capital, and STAR Ventures.
