Sipera Enhances Cisco Support

Richardson, Texas-based Sipera Systems, a developer of Voice over IP security products, said today that it has enhanced the firm's support of Cisco unified communications products. Sipera said that a software upgrade to its security appliances now supports a number of Cisco features, including Cisco Skinny Call Control Protocol (SCCP), encryption, and 2-factor authentication with Cisco VoIP phones. Sipera develops products used to protect voice-over-IP systems, including VPN, firewall, intrusion prevention, and other functionality.
