LifeSize Wins Virgin Mobile India
Austin-based LifeSize reported earlier this week that Virgin Mobile India, the youth-focused mobile phone service which is jointly owned by Virgin Group and Tata Teleservices, is using the firm's HD video conferencing solutions. LifeSize says that Virgin Mobile India is using the firm's equipment to reduce travel, and so far has reduced travel by 20 percent by using its products. Financial size of the win was not disclosed, however, LifeSize said that Virgin Mobile India has been using its systems to communicate bteween its primary operations in Mumbai and New Delhi. LifeSize also says that Virgin Mobile India is planning to expand its network to another 10, new regional offices over the next two years.
