ShopSavvy Powers Sam's Club App

Dallas-based Big In Japan has scored another big win for its ShopSavvy mobile shopping app, saying that Sam's Club, the division of Wal-Mart Stores, has adopted its technology as part of the Sam's Club App for iPhone, Android, and Blackberry. Financial terms of the win were not disclosed. Big In japan said that the Sam's Club App is using ShopSavvy's ScannerKit SDK and AdOns mobile advertising product. Big In Japan is headed by Alexander Muse. The firm's ShopSavvy mobile application allows users to scan barcodes of items, and find competing prices from online retailers.
