ShopSavvy Ties Into Best Buy

Dallas-based barcode scaning app developer ShopSavvy has made a major enhancement into its ShopSavvy Wallet offering today, saying that it has tapped into an application programming interface (API) from Best Buy. ShopSavvy said that by using Best Buy's BBYOpen interface, it will allow its users to get more online and local store offers than before. ShopSavvy's Wallet allows users to make mobile purchases from companies such as Best Buy, Walmart, Barnes & Noble, Nordstrom, Toys 'R' Us, JC Penney and Home Depot. The app allows users doing price comparisons with the app to click to buy better priced items from those other retailers from wherever they are shopping.
