ShopSavvy Racks Up 500 Licensed Apps
Dallas-based ShopSavvy, the developer of barcode scanning and price comparison apps for the iPhone and Android, reported yesterday that it has racked up a total of more than 500 developers now using its SDK. The firm said that licensees include companies like Consumer Reports, PriceGrabber, CNET and Walmart/Sam's Club. The firm is headed by Alexander Muse. ShopSavvy's application is popular with smart phone users looking to do price comparisons at the store.
