Grapevine-based videogame retailer GameStop has branched out into a new online ordering option, which allows user to hold games at GameStop stores for pickup. According to GameStop, its new PickUp@Store service allows users to pick out games they'd like to purchase online at the firm's web site, determine which stores have that title in stock, and pick them up the same day. GameStop said it is looking to provide both the ability to browse its online catalog from home, as well as get the "instant gratification" of buying games from its stores. The firm said that users will complete their purchases at the store.
