GameStop Launches Facebook Store

Grapevine-based GameStop said Thursday that it has launched a new, Facebook store, which will allow customers to purchase products from the social network. GameStop said it has tapped technology from Adgregate Markets for the online store. GameStop claimed it is the first major, multi-channel video game company to open up a Facebook store. As part of the launch, GameStop said it will offer pre-order of games for in-store delivery and pick up, and a new loyalty program through Facebook.
