GameStop Launches In-Store, Digital Purchases
Grapevine-based videogame retailer GameStop said today that it has launched a new way for gamers to purchase PC games for download, from within the firm's retail stores. According to GameStop, the new program will allow gamers to purchase access to digital games and get access to those games immediately at launch. The firm will also accept any form of credit, including credit from trades and gift cards. The firm said that the first title to be available in the program wil lbe Deus Ex: Human Revolution, and that it hopes to have "many titles" also supporting the in-store purchases.
