TriQuint Gets $17.5M For Richardson Efforts
TriQuint Semiconductor, a developer of RF products and semiconductor foundry services, reported today that it has received $17.75M in a contract from the US Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), which will go towards work in its Richardson, Texas location. The Oregon firm said it was awarded a Defense Production Act Title III gallium nitride (GaN) manufacturing development contract, which will go towards increasing yield, lowering cost, and improving time-to-market for defense and commercial Gallium Nitride integrated circuits.
