Gowalla Connects With Sundance Film Festival

Austin-based location-based check-in firm Gowalla is tying into the Sundance Film Festival, the annual Hollywood movie festival held in Park City, Utah. The tie into the film festival also includes a promotion with Southwest Airlines to fly 20 winners to the event. Sundance is held in January. Gowalla said it will award special prizes to users checking in during the film festival.
