Dell Acquires Medical Archiving Firm

Round Rock-based Dell announced this morning that it is acquiring Insite One, a provider of cloud-based, medical archiving services. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. According to Dell, the buy will go towards boosting its Unified Clinical Archive solution. Insight one is headquartered in Wallingford, Conn. Dell said Insite One currently manages 55 million clinical studies, 3.6 billion medical images, and 800 clinical sites.
