ActaCell Gains $3M In NIST Funding
Austin-based ActaCell, a developer of technology for the lithium-ion battery market, said today that it has received $3M in funding from the U.S. Depart of Commerce's National Institute of Standards and Technology. According to ActaCell, the funding will go towards production scale up of its nanocomposite alloy anode materials for lithium-ion batteries. The firm said the funding comes form the NIST's Technology Innovation Program (TIP).
