Solar Power Technologies Gains $6.0M
Austin-based Solar Power Technologies, a developer of optimization and monitoring systems for photovoltaic solar arrays, has raised $6.08M in a funding round, according to a regulatory filing by the firm. The firm is backed by Austin Ventures and Oxantium. The company was founded by Jeff Williams, who previously was at PulseWaveRF, Cypress Semiconductor, and Advanced Micro Devices, and is headed by Ray Burgess, who has previously been at TeraVicta Technologies, Tao Group, Freescale Semiconductor, Motorola and Texas Instruments.
