Gazzang Links With Rackspace

Austin-based Gazzang, the developer of data encryption software for cloud-based MySQL databases, said yesterday that it has linked with Rackspace and its Cloud Tools program. Gazzang said the deal will help secure MySQL databases hosted in the Rackspace Cloud. Gazzang is venture backed by Austin Ventures, and provides encryption tools for MySQL databases, helping to protect those databases from access by unauthorized users.
