Phunware Rolls Out Mobile App Platform

Austin-based Phunware, the developer of mobile applications for brands, said today that it has rolled out a new platform called PRAISE. The firm said the new software will help customers create, deploy, host, manage, and monetize mobile applications. The firm did not announce pricing on the tools, however, said the offering will offer up large or small enterprise brands with social media tools, advertising optimization, media hosting, game mechanics, and other features. Phunware's platform is used for mobile apps for such users as Discovery Channel, MythBusters, Nokia, McDonald's, and others.
