Phunware Powers Discovery Channel's New International Mobile Apps

Austin-based Phunware, the mobile apps development firm headed by Alan Knitowski, has expanded its relationship with Discovery Network, the parent company of the Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, TLC, and other cable channels. According to Discovery Networks and Phunware, they have created new, multi-language, international versions of the Discovery Channel mobile app for iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad users in Spanish, Portuguese and German. The firms said the new apps are available via the App Store. The new apps are free.
