EmFinders Links Via AT&T
Frisco-based EmFinders, a maker of a wearable device for tracking individuals with Alzheimers, dementia, or autism, said today that AT&T will wireless connect its bracelets to the 911 network. Financial details of the business deal were not disclosed. EmFinders is a subsidiary of Liberty Media Corporation. The firm's devices uses U-TDOA triangulation technology, which uses cell phone signals to accurately locate a person.
