Active Power Wins U.S. Government Deal

Austin-based Active Power, the provider of flywheel-based uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, reports today that it has deployed three of its CleanSource 1200 kVA UPS systems to a U.S. government agency customer. Financial impact of the win was not disclosed, and name of the particular U.S. agency was not announced. The company said the systems will be installed in Q2.
