Layered Boosts Security For PCI

Plano-based Layered Technologies, the provider of dedicated hosting and other computing and data center services, reported Tuesday that it is further hardening its secure data centers for customers, in an effort to support customer's need for PCI Compliant environments. PCI is a security standard being applied to e-commerce firms who accept credit cards. Layered Tech said it has been expanding its PCI compliant infrastructure in Chicago and Dallas. The PCI standards require a higher level of security to infrastructure than most standard hosting options.
