Layered Technologies Lands $11M in VC Funds

Layered Technologies Inc., an on-demand provider of information technology services and related software, announced Tuesday that it has concluded an investment funding round after securing $11 million. Layered Technologies said private equity firm Enhanced Equity Fund LP and founding investor Pangloss International led the effort. Layered Technologies said it will use the cash to develop new products and to expand its sales and marketing efforts to new enterprise markets. Headquartered in Plano, Texas, Layered Technologies services include on-demand hosting and utility computing solutions. More information »
