Layered Technologies Raises $20M

Plano-based Layered Technologies, a provider of dedicated hosting and cloud computing services, said this morning that it has raised $20M in an equity round. The round was led by private equity firm Accel-KKR, and also included prior investors Enhanced Equity Fund and Pangloss International. Layered said the funding will go towards funding growth and expansion of its services. Layered also specifically said it would fund an "aggressive" strategic acquisition program. More information »
