ShopSavvy Tests QuickBooks Integration
Dallas-based ShopSavvy, the developer of mobile barcode scanning and pricing comparison shopping, said this week that it is looking to help small retailers connect their Intuit Quickbooks Point Of Sale software with the app. The company said it has an API connection to the Intuit software ready for beta test, and is looking for small retailers willing to tryi t out. The API allows those retailers to share their pricing with the users of ShopSavvy's iPhone and Android apps, which allows users to scan a barcode and get comparison pricing from online and local stores. The firm did not say when it expects to release the software to all companies. ShopSavvy is run by Alexander Muse. The firm's app is one of the top mobile barcode scanning applications.
