SoftLayer Reports Q1 Growth Numbers

Dallas-based hosting provider SoftLayer Technologies reported today that it had growth in its first quarter, with revenues of $78M for January 1st to March 31, 2011. The privately held firm did not report its profit and loss totals, but did say it had a $33M EBITDA. The firm is owned by private equity firm GI Partners. SoftLayer said it now has over 26,000 customers across 140 countries, and 81,000 servers under management. SoftLayer's revenues have grown significantly from the merger with The Planet in November.
