Emulex Sets Up Shop In Austin
Emulex, a developer of storage area and network adapters and switches, said today that it will be opening up a new Austin office next week, as a part of an expansion for the firm into the region. Emulex said it is opening up a new office on MoPac Expressway next Tuesday, which will include both offices and engineering labs. Emulex did not say how many it will employ at the new office. Emulex is a developer of Fibre Channel host bus adapters, embedded switches, network adapters and network interface cards, and other products; the firm's customers include Cisco, Dell, EMC, Fujitsu, Hitachi, Hitachi Data Systems, HP, Huawei, IBM, NEC, NetApp and Oracle. Emulex is based in Southern California.
