Virtual Bridges Names Products and Alliances VP

Austin-based Virutal Bridges, the developer of desktop virtualization software, reported today that it has named Edward (Ed) Hubbard as its Vice President of Products asnd Alliances. Hubbard joins the company from Citrix Systems. Hubbard was the founder of United Devices, which merged with Univa HD, and also has served at Dell, Microsoft, and Intel. Virtual Bridges said that Hubbard will guide the roadmap for the firm's product. Virtual Bridges is venture backed by Austin Ventures.
