Authentix Finds $15M
Dallas-based Authentix, a developer of security and anti-counterfeiting technology used in oil and gas, pharmaceutical, consumer goods, and other industries, announced today that it has raised $15M in a Series C growth equity funding. The firm said that the funding came from existing investors The Carlyle Group, J.H. Whitney, Manti Holdings, as well as others. The firm said the funding will go towards its high speed banknote sensor platforms and expansion of its Currency business unit, and will also go towards strategic acquisitions. More information »
