Benchmark Electronics Restarts Thailand Factory
Angleton-based Benchmark Electronics reported this morning that it has restarted its operations in Ayudhaya, Thailand. The firm said the reopening is ahead of its planned schedule. Benchmark was force in October to shut the factory, after the industrial park in the area was flooded by record rains in Thailand. Benchmark Electronics is one of many electronics manufacturers who have been hit by the flooding in Thailand. Benchmark said it was up and running a week ahead of an already aggressive schedule.
