LifeSize Launches Updated Videoconferencing Phone
Austin-based LifeSize, the developer of high definition, video conferencing hardware which is now part of Logitech, said today that it has launched a new, touch screen phone specifically aimed at the HD video conferencing market. The firm said its new LifeSize Phone--the second generation of its products--includes a touch screen interface which makes it easier to set up a video conferencing call. The firm said it has simplified its user interface, with the aim of reducing calls to help desks on how to use the equipment. LifeSize sells the systems for a suggested retail price of $17,999.
