Fonality Wins Japanese City

Dallas-based Fonality, the developer of business telephony systems, said its trixBox Pro IP PBX software is being used as part of a win in Japan, in the City of Iwaki. The firm said it won the business in an effort with DioJapan, Communication Business Avenue (CBA) and QLOOG, to implement a call center to help victims of the March 2011 tsunami and Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant disasters. Fonality's IP-PBX platform will be the hub of the call center. Financial impact of the win was not announced.
