Fonality Wins Gogo

Dallas-based Fonality, the developer of cloud-based, PBX and other IP communications software for small and mid-sized businesses, said that it has scored in-flight wireless provider Gogo as a customer. Fonality said its product will support more than 500 users in a corporate and contact center operation for Gogo. Financial impact of the win was not disclosed. Fonality's PBX systems and software--based on open source--are being used to replace a legacy PBX system at Gogo. Fonality is venture backed by Intel Capital, Draper Fisher Jurvetson and Azure Capital Partners.
