Pivot3 Signs EMEA Distributor

Austin-based Pivot3, the developer of unified computing and storage appliances, reported this morning that it has linked up with distributor Arrow Enterprise Computing Solutions, to distribute the firm's VSTAC VDI product in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Pivot3's VDI products are used to enable virtual desktop systems, by providing an appliance which includes both storage and server elements in a single package. Pivot3's products work with VMware View, the virtual desktop software form VMware. Pivot3 is venture backed by Samsung Ventures, Focus Ventures, InterWest Partners, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Mesirow Financial, Northleaf Capital Partners and Silver Creek Ventures.
