GameSalad In Partnership With Tencent

Austin- and Los Angeles-based GameSalad, which develops software which makes it easy for people to create their own Apple iOS mobile games, has announced a major partnership with Chinese Internet giant Tencent. According to GameSalad, it is partnership with Tencent on a series of initiatives to bring the firm to China. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed, however, GameSalad said it will be providing help with localization, marketing, monetization, and featured distribution in Tencent's App Store in China, as well as creating a Chinese version of its GameSalad Creator tool. The new Chineses GameSalad Creator includes localization into simplified Chinese and local carrier billing for Chinese carriers.
