Noesis Exits Beta, Launches Energy Management Service

Austin-based Noesis Energy, the energy management startup backed by Austin Ventures, said today that it has officially ended its beta period, and launched its service. The firm--which raised a $6.5M round in November--develops software which helps commercial and industrial customers to measure, graph, and analyze their energy consumption, comparing buildings against each other, benchmarking energy efficiency, and more. Noesis is headed by Scott Harmon, the former CEO of AlterPoint and co-founder of Motive Communications.
