Nitero Gets Funding For High Speed Wi-Fi
Austin-based Nitero, which is developing 60Ghz, Wi-Fi semiconductors, said today that it has secured an additional round of funding for the firm. Size of the round was not announced. Nitero said the funding came form Trailblazer Capital, Southern Cross Venture Partners and Austin Ventures. The company, headed by N. Patrick Kelly, said it will use the funding to further develop its solution. Nitero also has major operations in Australia. The company said it has just begun demonstrating a multi-gigabit, ultra-low power 60Ghz Wi-Fi product aimed at the mobile device market. More information »
