Dell Targets SMBs With New Storage Arrays, Appliance
Round Rock-based Dell said this week that it has launched a new, SMB storage array, as well as a new backup and disaster recovery appliance. The firm said its new PowerVault MD3 arrays can store up to 180 terabytes of data in a 60-drive, 4U rack enclose, and its DR4000 disk-based backup and recovery appliance are both aimed at small and medium sized businesses. Pricing on the products was not announced. The company also said it has begun offering up zero percent leasing for its line of PowerVault storage, servers, and switches for those customers.
