ABI Research Sets Up Office In Austin

ABI Research, a research, development, and forecasting company focused on the semiconductor and electronics industry, said today that it has set up a new location in Austin. The company said its new research and teardown facility will allow it to be in the center of a "technology hub", alongside such companies like Freescale Semicondcutor, Dell, and Black Sand technologies. ABI Research helps companies such as those forecast trends in those markets, and also provides "teardowns" of equipment to help companies understand their competitors. The company said its teardown operations are headed by VP of Engineering Jim Mielke.
