Orbitz, Aegis Exceed Veteran Hiring Goals In Texas
Travel site Orbitz<.b> and outsourcing firm Aegis said today that they have hired over 200 veterans and military family members this year in Killeen, Texas, as part of its pledge as part of the Joining Forces Veterans Hiring Initiative. The two had said in February that they would pledge to hire at least 50 veterans and military family members through 2012 as part of the effort to support veterans and the military. The companies said the hiring plans went far beyond the initial goal, and that it also continues to fill openings. The Joining Forces Hiring Initiative was announced by the White House in February.
