CyrusOne Links With Dell To Service Oil & Gas Industry

Carollton-based CyrusOne, the data center operator which is ownd by Cincinnati Bell, said today that it has partnered with Dell and R Systems to offer up enterprise, high performance computing (HPC) products. The companies said CyrusOne is using its Houston West colocation facility to house and enable a high performance computing service specifically aimed at the oil and gas industry. CyrusOne said it will offer its services for as little as one day and as long as one year, to help the oil and gas industry optimize their budgets and reduce the effort in managing HPC environments and data centers.
