Mozido Buys Merchant Network Firm PagoVision

Mozido, the Dallas-based developer of white-label, mobile financial services software and services, said this morning that it has acquired merchant network company PagoVision. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Mozido says that PagoVision provides check cashing and payment services for the unbanked and underbanked. Mozido said the buy gives it access to 1,500 independent retailers serving the underbanked and unbanked market, aimed at the immigrant population in the U.S. Mitch Dillard, who co-founded PagoVision, will continue to lead the firm as a subsidiary of Mozido.
