ipDatatel Connects Into $2.85M
Houston-based ipDataTEl, a developer of wireless equipment used to connect security, home automation, and other devices into the Internet, said this morning that it has raised $2.85M in a growth financing round. The firm said the oversubscribed round was led by Genesis Park, L.P., and also included Tchoupitoulas Partners. ipDatTel was founded by Russell Vail, and offers up wireless equipment to connect home alarm equipment and control panels to the Internet without requiring a hard-wired telephone line. The firm said its customers include Honeywell, DSC and General Electric. More information »
