Twyla Launches Big Ad Campaign
Austin-based online art seller Twyla, which sells limited edition prints to consumers, has launched a big advertising campaign, the company said today. According to Twyla, the campaign features fashion's Iris Apfel, along with such artists as James Gortner, Oso Parado, Kristen Schiele, Esmeralda Kosmatopoulos, Adler Guerrier and Natalie White, model Charli Howard, digital strategist JiaJia Fei, entrepreneur Rameet Chawla, and racecar driver Elizabeth White. The company did not say how much it is spending on the big advertising campaign, which it is calling Art Connects Us. The company plans to primarily run those ads on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. Twyla is venture backed by GV, Redpoint Ventures, and IVP, and was co-founded by HomeAway's Brian Sharples.
